摘要
Containerization has occupied a considerable amount of market size due to its inherent lightweight characteristics. However, the lightweight advantage is achieved at the price of security. On the other hand, hardware security receives increasing attention recently. The widespread infiltration of untrusted hardware, specifically, counterfeit and cloned parts has been reported. Other various security threats, such as the overproduction of ICs, sale of out-of-specification/rejected ICs, and piracy of Intellectual Properties (IPs) also need concerns. To address these problems, I will first introduce a framework to provide the security for the containerized applications and then present a novel security analysis on the smart contract system from the runtime (containerization) level. The methods of ensuring the authenticity and traceability of electronic parts in the supply chain will also be introduced and discussed. Finally, I will demonstrate a novel oracle-less attack against the logic locking, which is one of the prominent trust techniques for integrated circuits.
